greetings from the sunny island of yummy food and humidity!!! it's been good ever since i touched down from the plane from perth! altho i must say that the weather takes some getting used to. esp when u come from a place in winter to a place where it's perpetually hot and humid and winter is the monsoon season.

it was a good flight.. and by good flight i don't mean the in-flight shows were good.. or that the meal was like super fantastic(altho it's pretty darn good.. oohhh!! tomato braised beef with mash like creamy mash potato!! yum!!) what i mean by a good flight wld be the lack of or rather the minimal air turbulence experienced! the in flight show of the day was jersey girl... which the now ex, one half of the bennifer couple stared in. i didn't watch it.. not cos i didn't want to.. but the damm screen was like ten thousand miles away from where i was seated... and the smaller screen was just above my head. so yah qantas does not have personal tv screens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! argh!! the horror man!!! so i did the only thing i cld do.. sleep! hahahhahahahah!!! well like mentioned earlier the meal was good... the mash potato was mashed to like a creamy texture and the beef was braised till tender! altho that didn't quell my anticipation for the yummy sg food man! enough of my flight...

onto the main stuff... touched down to sg and called my parents only to realised that they weren't even at the airport waiting for me. u wld think that they wld be excited and anxious to see me cos they were missing me so.. but NO!! they were still on their way (but i can't blame them cos pa was working late) anyways.. collected my luggage and then proceeded to like the car pick up area at t1 (i must say that it's looking better than b4!!) and waited for a short while... then we drove to my fav eating place of all time!!! havelock rd bak kuet teh!!! wooohoooo!!!! the soup there ah.. it's like freaking power lah! i mean.. fwah.... damm spicy and tasty man! i can nv replicate that no matter how hard i try sia! had a good *dammmmmmmmmmmmm delicious* dinner there.

then after that went back see grandma and my god-parents.. gave daddy the bottle of wine that i bought from margaret river, gave mummy choc from margaret river choc factory.. rushed out of the house to meet mark k, nari, zhong and the rest. ahahhah!! had like supper at newton which i didn't eat much.. not cos the anticipation was sweeter or i lost the want to eat newton food.. but i was too full from my dinner... (only like 45mins after my dinner, i went supper) anyways..... didn't know where to go.. so went to holland v.

at hollan v.... hmmmmm it's like a weekday lah so everything was closed loh.. so instead of us chilling at some nice cafe, we had to settle for like kopi tiam!! not that i minded cos it's been a while since i hung out at a kopi tiam! hahahah! i must say.... kopi tiams are good sia.... u get good cheap food and drinks and can watch tv.. the only minor discomfort wld be the lack of air conditioning.. anyways drank this drink; aloe vera with peach.. nice nice! seen it but nv tried it till now.. hahah!! then came home cos i'm tired.. hahahah!!!

mom was still up cos i think she's worried abt me.. but it's okie.... mark k send nari and me up to our respective houses... what a gentleman mark... thank you! showered... and for once i stepped out of the shower.. and i didn't feel cold.. feeling a little hungry now, but not my house in perth cos there confirm got things to makan. all the little snacks and nonsense food esp indo mee.. but in my sg house, mom doesn't believe in like snacks and stuff.. so there's hardly food in my place.. i don't even have to check, i also know i'm going to starve! maybe i shd like slp away my hunger man! hahah!
